The winter here seems far from being over. The climate here is absolutely unpredictable. Saw the worst of winters and a tinge of summer well in a month’s span. Some day it snowed heavily, while on some other day the sun shone brightly. But never did the harsh conditions stop us from having fun. This time I chose to write about the winters in New York/ New Jersey. Well, what could be more fun than capturing the happy moments that the snowfall brought along?
Back in India, I belong to a place which never saw snowfall. Though I visited a lot of places in North India and also stayed here for 2 long years where I witnessed snowfall, I am surprised how it never ceases to amaze me.
The park we went to was entirely covered in a white blanket. The sun peeped in through the trees. Though it looked warm with all the sunlight throughout the park, it was freezing cold.
We went to the park after the snowfall stopped. By then, the roads were already cleared of all the snow.
How could girls not pose right in the middle of the road?
Yes, the purple umbrella was an important part too!
We then walked towards the lake to get some more pictures.

The sun was about to set now, and we almost froze. But before we left, I still managed to get some more pictures.
Snowfall here is something worth experiencing. I tried to pen down my experiences, but I still feel words don’t do justice to what I witnessed. Unfortunately, it was really cold outside so couldn’t manage to take more pictures of the park.
This time I also tried the photoshoot with two of my other friends. Thankfully they were patient enough to work with me in the freezing weather. It was a treat to work with them. Hopefully, I can manage to take them along for my future blog posts.
